Amorolfine HCl
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply to the affected finger or toe nails once or twice wkly.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Women of childbearing potential. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn <12 yr.
Special Precautions
Patients w/ allergy to any medicines, food, dyes or preservatives; w/ other health problems; in concomitant use w/ other medicines; who are diabetic; being treated due to weak immune system; poor circulation in the hands & feet; severely damaged or infected nails. Avoid contact w/ the eyes, ears or mucous membranes (eg, mouth & nostrils). Do not inhale. Not to be applied to the nail bed for potential localized effects (eg, contact dermatitis). Contact w/ the skin.
Adverse Reactions
Potentially, discoloured, broken or brittle nails; burning sensation in the area around the nail; contact dermatitis, skin itching or redness.
Drug Interactions
Not to be used w/ nail varnish, artificial nails or other medications on the nails being treated.
